Radio actress Sue Scott and explorer Ann Bancroft will share the Earle Brown Heritage Center stage in Minneapolis this weekend, on January 25 and 26, for Rock What You Got. Formerly known as the Twin Cities Women's Expo, the event celebrates local women—only, this year, it's more than a shopping experience, with talks, entertainment, and demos. On Friday at 5 p.m., Scott interviews Bancroft live for her satirical podcast, The Island of Discarded Women, focusing on how women can persevere in spheres governed by men.

Beloved Twin Cities musician Chastity Brown will also sit down with radio host Jearlyn Steele, and the comedy duo behind Park Square Theatre's 2 Sugars Show, Shanan Custer and Carolyn Pool, will deliver comedy laced with truths about gender inequality. Food Network host and award-winning cookbook author Amy Thielen tops a list of women professionals who will talk about their fields and give live demonstrations.
