Luckily, Irish heritage is not a requirement to take part in St. Patrick’s Day festivities. You now have an excuse to wear all your best green apparel and attend one of the parades, concerts, or races occurring across the state. Minnesota takes St. Patrick’s Day seriously, so no matter where you live, there is most-likely a celebration near you.

LUCKYPALOOZA
St. Paul, March 10
Start off St. Patrick’s week right at LuckyPalooza on West Seventh Street. There will be live music, outdoor food stands and bars, mechanical bull rides, Ride MN extreme sports activations, and tent parties at McGovern's, Burger Moe's, and Cossetta's. The street party goes from 2-11 p.m. and then moves indoors to the 10 surrounding bars and restaurants.

CELTIC FESTIVAL
Moorhead, March 10
Learn more about the history, arts, and traditions of the seven Celtic Nations at the 15th annual Celtic Festival. The festival features two performance stages, several presentations about folk traditions of the past and present, activity booths, and Celtic foods. All exhibits, performances, and activities are free.

IRISH TEA AND LUNCHEON & ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
New Ulm, March 10 & 17
New Ulm may have the highest percentage of German ancestry than any other city in the United States, but on St. Patrick’s Day, everyone is Irish! The celebration begins March 10 with the Irish Tea and Luncheon featuring traditional Irish music and cuisine. Then on March 17, put on your green attire and head downtown for the oldest consecutive running Irish parade in Minnesota.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Minneapolis, March 17
The 50th annual Minneapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade will occur on the newly renovated Nicollet Mall. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will celebrate 50 years of Irish heritage and families in Minnesota.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN STILLWATER
Stillwater, March 17
Find green beer, Irish fare, and live music along historic main street bars and restaurants for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. For even more fun, visit the JX Event Venue on March 17th, for a St. Patrick’s Day Party with Tim Sigler performing all night long. $5 tickets at the door will get you entrance to the party and one free green beer.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE & CELEBRATION
Crosslake, March 17
“Share Your Charm” at the 44th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Celebration. Along with the parade, there will be an arts and crafts fair, live music, hot air balloon tether rides, food and beer garden, and the Clover Dash 5K. From March 15-17, the Pot O’Gold Treasure Hunt will lead you to a prize package of goods and services valued at more than $1,000.
