Cookie Cart Celebrates 30th Anniversary

WHAT:  Baking Bright Futures Breakfast and 30th Anniversary Community Celebration 
WHEN: Thursday, April 5, 7-8:30 a.m.
WHERE:  Sanctuary Covenant Church, 710 W. Broadway, Minneapolis 

WHY: To celebrate and learn the history and community impact of Cookie Cart over the past 30 years and to check in on progress on the St Paul building.

INSIDER INFO: This is a free community event and open to the public and in honor of the vision of Cookie Cart founder Sister Jean Thuerauf. A light breakfast with pastries baked by Cookie Cart teens will be served. Due to limited space, advance registration is required. Learn more.


Les Dames d'Escoffier

WHAT: It's a Party, Dame It!
WHEN: Sunday, April 8, 2-5 p.m.
WHERE: Solar Arts Chow Girls, 711 15th Ave. NE, Minneapolis 

WHY: Local women chefs and wine purveyors offer food and beverages to raise funds to support academic scholarships for women.

WHY : This three-course dinner celebrates and supports the 115-year legacy of Union Gospel Mission making lasting change.

Getting Crafty for the Council

WHAT: American Craft Show Preview Show

WHY:  This night’s proceeds benefit the American Craft Council's educational programming. Meet the artists, enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and live music, and shop the show ahead of the crowds.

WHY: Bring your pet, sample wines, and raise funds for No Dog Left Behind. Tails will wag for this wine tasting.
