Summer Nanny Bucket List

Unleash your inner child at these fun Twin Cities locations

Published:

As the long summer months roll in, it is important to know how to make the most out of each day. As a nanny myself, I find that it’s necessary to do something that is not only engaging and worthwhile for the kids, but for me as well. After all, we nannies like to have fun too. Considering elements such as varying weather forecasts, the children’s mood and time constraints, it can sometimes be tough to find an activity that is just right, but with the help of these interactive and educational locations you're sure to have a thrilling summer.

Often times, certain activities can be a bit pricey; however there are several things that you can do in order to save a few bucks:

  • Find coupons located around town at local gas stations and franchise businesses (most common with Mall of America attractions like SEA Life Aquarium)
  • Pre-order admission online
  • Show a student ID if applicable
  • Save old admission tickets—there are often coupons with discounts off future visits

Artistic Flare

Discover your creative side and expose yourself to a world of perspective.

The Thrill of It All

Unleash your wild side and let loose at these high energy hotspots.

In touch with nature

Learn more about our natural world or embrace the serene landscapes that Minnesota has to offer.

Learning Experience

 Splish Splash

Dive into these refreshing lakes and chlorinated ponds or amp it up with twisting slides, sprinkling play areas, and zip lines.
