Your Personal Tour Guide: TourMSP

Published:

Hosting guests for more than a night can be stressful. So can visiting a new city, navigating the airport, transporation options, and filling down time or running errands without imposing too much on your host.

Here's something to help with that: TourMSP. It's a new mobile site developed by Greenspring Media Group (who publishes our magazine), giving anyone visiting the Twin Cities a personal guide right there in their pocket—via a smart phone.

tourmspAlong with Minnesota Monthly, Greenspring Media Group publishes Where Twin Cities, Minneapolis & St. Paul: Official Visitors Guide to the Twin Cities, Destination Bloomington Minnesota, Where Guestbook Twin Cities, and Twin Cities Living, and with all that, ultimately reaches over 2 million visitors in this market. They've harneshed this visitor content and local knowledge into a primarily listing-based mobile site (wiht more content to come) for visitors (and local alike!) to use to navigate and enjoy this great state.

Everything is geobased, so you can search, filter, and navigate your way through dining, shopping, and entertainment options near you or a neighborhood you're headed.

It's not an app, so there's no need to visit an app store or download anything. Just visit TourMSP.com on your smart phone and you're all set. Be sure to click "OK" when your phone prompts you to use the location tool, so all results will be geo-targeted (though you can still view all content if you'd prefer to say no). Note: You can view and use this on a computer or tablet as well, but it's designed for mobile, so a much better view that way.

Safe travels, and Happy Holidays!
