Spirits will be high at the third annual Minnesota Monthly Fine Spirits Classic this Thursday evening. Local bartenders will pour premium spirits from around the globe and share tips for shaking summer cocktail perfection.

We’ll have samples of Bittercube Bitters, AVIV Vodka, Cody Road Whiskey, and dozens more. At the Throwback: Wall Street Spirit Lounge, you can even get lessons in online stock trading, unleashing your inner Wall Street wolf as you sip cocktails.

At a special VIP pre-party, Minnesota Monthly editor in chief Rachel Hutton will interview Paul Werni, founder and co-owner of 45th Parallel Distillery (the area’s first artisan grain-to-glass distillery known for its excellent vodka and bourbon). Sip on premium picks from the 45th Parallel arsenal as you learn what makes the Wisconsin distillery tick.

Get your Fine Spirits Classic tickets here, and enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets for the VIP Experience by tweeting at us using @mnmomag and #FineSpiritsMN! Winner will be selected at random and notified via Twitter on Tuesday, July 22 at 3 p.m.
