Smashin’ Passion Cocktail Recipe

Raise a glass to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a wee early (since it falls on a Tuesday this year) or embrace the spring in the air by mixing up a refreshing and fruity cocktail that is decidedly not green.

Just a few simple ingredients create this beautifully balanced refreshment, notes its creator, mixologist Kathy Casey, who contributed this to Drinks magazine. Bacardi Limón rum is a great example of a flavored spirit that mixes with sophisticated flair. Cheers!

Smashin’ Passion

Makes 1 drink

1 large lime wedge
1 1/2 oz. Bacardi Limón rum
3 oz. passion fruit nectar, such as Looza
5 fresh or frozen raspberries

Squeeze lime wedge into a large shaker glass then drop in. Fill shaker with ice. Measure in Bacardi Limón rum and passion fruit nectar. Add raspberries. Shake vigorously and pour contents (with ice) into a tall drink glass.
