Elizabeth’s Pick: The Egg Sandwich I Can’t Stop Eating

Published:

I’m not kidding. I can’t stop eating this egg sandwich. I go out of my way to be near a Caribou Coffee during mealtimes, just so I can sink my teeth into one of their Chicken Apple Sausage Daybreaker sandwiches (there are other flavors, but this one is by far the best). It may not look like much at first glance, but come a little closer and get a load of this: Soft, buttery brioche bun, a savory-sweet, un-rubbery chicken apple sausage patty that actually tastes like meat, and ooey, gooey Wisconsin cheddar cheese. The whole thing is heated-to-order and ready to eat faster than you can say Caribou. The fact that this sandwich is only 310 calories means there’s no reason TO stop eating it.
