If you haven't planned ahead, it'll probably be tough to book Valentine’s Day reservations. Rachel and John recommend buying your significant other a gift certificate and staking out your own weekend. Their favorites include Restaurant Alma—fine dining plus a boutique hotel and a new café for brunch. And the recently opened Hewing Hotel in the North Loop, all North Woods luxury perfect for a staycation. The hotel's restaurant, Tullibee, boasts an in-house butchery and a large wood-burning grill. Listen to the full segment at Classical MPR.
