Top 5 Beauty Products for Spring 2015

How wonderful does this warm sunshine feel? I’m so excited that it’s finally time to share this list of beauty products that will get you ready for the beautiful days ahead—they’re real game-changers, and I think you’ll fall in love with them, too.

1. Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo
Available in salons this April, this is Moroccan Oil’s first dry shampoo. Like the rest of their product line, once you try it you won’t have to look anywhere else. Customized in 2 sheer finishes, one for light hair and one for dark, this product really absorbs oil rather than just covering it up and leaving powdery buildup at the base of your hairline. True to Moroccan Oil’s form, the dry shampoo smells lovely and has the added bonus of UV filters to protect your color from fading. Given the cult following Moroccan Oil has gained, this spray will definitely sell out fast.

2. Yves Saint Laurent Volupte Tint-in-Oil
After 2 years in the lab, YSL has incorporated five healing oils (apricot kernel, macadamia seed, coriander fruit, jojoba seed, and passion flower) and eight pretty tints into a sheer, gorgeous lip gloss. Keep this in your purse for that just-bitten touch of color at a moment’s notice, and feel good about treating yourself well at the same time.

3. Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 50+
When I say game-changer, I’m not kidding. This gentle sunscreen, formulated especially for the face, actually works better after 15 minutes of water exposure or 30 minutes of sweat! Yes—works better. Broad-spectrum UV technology teams up with SuperVeil-UV 360 technology to reduce the appearance of photo-aging while still protecting your skin. This should be a regular part of your beauty routine whether you’re planning outdoor time or not.

4. Dr. Jart + BB Bounce Beauty Balm
Following the Korean phenomenon of BB creams, this silky compact is a standout. The highly moisturizing formula with an SPF 30 has a thin layer of elastic netting over the top to give you just the right amount of product while stopping a mess from happening in your purse or beach bag. The cream is designed to not only firm skin but also brighten it and improve elasticity with help from ingredients such as pomegranate extract and elderberry. If you have sensitive skin, this also happens to be free of artificial fragrances, parabens, mineral oil, and petroleum.

5. Stila Field of Florals Lip and Cheek Colors
As soon as this pretty compact was released, it made its way right into my beauty routine. The palette’s colors are beautiful, hardworking, and include a full range of shades, from nudes to a luscious berry red. The creamy textures blend beautifully and give a healthy glow—a springtime dream come true.
