Update: Flirt has since closed its North Loop location. Shop its original location at 177 Snelling Ave. N., St. Paul

Flirt Boutique, the petite, Parisian-styled lingerie boutique located on the corner of Selby and Snelling Avenues in St. Paul, has nabbed a second location—in Minneapolis' hottest neighborhood. Owner Jessica Gerard tells me that the new storefront will be located in the North Loop around the corner from MartinPatrick3 in the former House of Balls, a gallery space featuring the quirky bowling ball art of sculptor Allen Christian. At 574 square feet, the space will be slightly larger than its original space. The Colonial Warehouse building is currently undergoing a major renovation at the back of the building, and more tenants are expected to be announced.

Flirt North Loop will carry a similar selection of high-end lingerie from brands such as Cosabella, La Perla, and Hanky Panky. One exciting new addition: locally made line Jagress Intimates by Minneapolis designer Sarah Patros, known for her heirloom-quality intimate sets. Flirt North Loop is expected to open in mid- to late-September at 212 3rd Avenue North; stay tuned for grand opening details.
