Carried Away

I have been cold for the last two weeks. I've been piling on sweaters, wraps, blinged-out Juicy hand warmers (generously supplied by my two best friends for my birthday this year), and yes, my Uggs, for a couple of weeks and the chill has yet to abate.

Except now I feel like I have found the magical key. Maybe I just needed a figurative light!

I have had my eye on a few Carrier Pigeon pieces since I spotted one on Kedrin Likness, the crochet mastermind, who I featured in Muse in November. Then, last week, I stopped by the Carrier Pigeon Etsy shop and found this beauty. Lauren Neal, the artist behind Carrier Pigeon, also tells me that she'll be offering two new finishes--a blackened tipped- and a copper-tipped match—soon, at a lower price point. Watch her shop!

At least now I don't have to resort to rubbing two sticks together...
