Don't-Miss Sales This Weekend

Published:

There are two super-delicious sales this weekend that you must know about, so I am happily here to tell you all about them. Let's get right to it, shall we?

Tomorrow and Sunday: Mighty Swell owners, Rae Alexis Danneman and Meghan McAndrews, will hold another "blink-and-you-miss-it shopping extravaganza" to feed the vintage-hungry, on-a-budget masses. I mean it about the masses—expect lines out the door. As always, you can pay with plastic, try things on in a communal dressing room, and if you show up between 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, you might get a popsicle from 10,000 Licks! Vendors include Top Drawer Vintage, Teacup Vintage, Vintage Valise, Ramble + Pluck Pink, and Patterns Vintage + Resale. I know I'll be there tomorrow morning to see what I can see. I might be too excited to sleep tonight. Seriously.

10 a.m.–7 p.m., July 24 and 25, 3109 E. 42nd St., Mpls., mightyswell.com

Allee Metro Chic is having a blowout sale in honor of owner June's 50th birthday. The entire store will be marked 50 to 70 percent off through July 31. Get your French fix now, because the mother-and-daughter duo behind the shop will take a proper "fermature annuele"—those lonnnng Euro "holidays" Americans would love to get in on—starting August 1. The shop will reopen August 27 with tons of new, superchic items.

179 Snelling Ave. N., St. Paul, 651-414-0274
