6 Beauty Gift Ideas

Well like it or not the holidays are upon us. Thanksgiving is just a few days away (and I haven’t even shopped for my tofurkey). And not since 1888 has Hanukkah started so early (the same day as Thanksgiving). The hunt for great gifts is on.

I don’t let myself get too crazy with the holiday shopping frenzy, but I do like finding the perfect gift—something thoughtful the receiver will appreciate. I also like one-stop shopping. In light of that, here are some recommendations for some of my favorite beauty gifts to give (and receive)—all at Sephora.

Sephora Beauty Gift Board Ideas

1. Pinch Provisions Minimergency® Kit ($15)

Need a last minute Haunakkah gift or a little stocking stuffer? No problem. Try the Pinch Provisions Minimergency® Kit For Her. This super cute minimergency kit contains everything a girl needs to survive beauty, fashion, and personal emergencies—all in an adorable TSA-approved little pouch. From earring backs to a deodorant towlette, it’s in here. My nieces are definitely getting these.

2. The Jack Black Hit List Set ($32)

Men just don’t think about skin care the way women do, but that’s not to say they don’t appreciate it when they get it. Many of my fashionable male friends have been singing the praises of Jack Black products for some time now. The Jack Black Hit List Set has all the products a man needs to keep his skin looking great. The kit includes basic skin and shave care as well as the cult favorite Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25. Once they’re hooked, there’s no turning back. My husband is getting this one so he can ditch the facial hair once Movember is done.

3. Makeup Academy Nails Set ($36)

For the nail junkie: the Makeup Academy Nails Set includes 10 vivid Color Hit nail polishes, a multicolor glitter top coat, a jar of star jewels, and a booklet with tutorials for 12 nail art applications. All you need to add is polish remover and a ribbon. The babysitter will LOVE this gift.

4. Sephora’s Favorite Fragrance Samplers ($65)

This was one of my favorite gifts to give last year and I still think it’s an excellent value and idea. The gift consists of 14 top fragrance samples —for her, a “beauty clutch” (I think of it as a makeup touch up bag). For him, a men’s travel bag and a scent certificate redeemable for a full size bottle of the favorite featured fragrance. All this for $65 and no one will embarrassingly ask you for the receipt so they can exchange the perfume you gave them. This one is perfect for my sister-in-law that loves fragrance.

5. CLARISONIC
Pedi Foot Transformation Set ($199)

My facial Clairsonic has revolutionized my skin care routine, I swear by it. Along comes another product from Clairsonic that I am coveting—a professional pedicure in a box . It contains the White Pedi Device—a Wet/Dry Buffing Brush Head and a Pedi Smoothing Disc.

It also has products to enhance the pedicure including Pedi-Buff, a foot cleansing scrub, Pedi-Balm, a hydrating balm to soften, hydrate, and protect feet. It also has Pedi-Boost, a powerful foot peel that exfoliates and renews feet. (If anyone out there reading this can’t think of what to get me as a gift, here it is.

6. Drybar Blowout in a Box ($220)

The secret to a great blow dry is the perfect combination of tools and products.

Drybar Blowout in a Box has put together a kit of just what you need for a great blow-dry at home. For $220, the kit includes the official Drybar blow dryer “buttercup” (1,500 hundred stylists at Drybar locations nationwide use it). Don’t let the name fool you—it’s a high-powered, technologically advanced instrument.

Combined with a professional round brush and products specifically made to enhance your blowout, you can get professional results at home.

These gifts and many more are available at Sephora in store or online (free shipping on gift over $50), some are limited editions so don’t wait too long. Happy Thanksgiving and good luck with the gift hunting!
