Twin Cities sales and style events not to be missed

Tuesday through Oct. 26: Clothes4Souls Coat Drive at Macy's: All Macy’s stores are participating in this charitable venture that will donate one to the nonprofit Clothes4Souls organization for every coat purchased. The donation also applies to coats purchased at macys.com, so Macy’s invites you to share the warmth by helping provide for those in need this fall. Wednesday: Celebrity Lip Sync for Smiles: Local celebs compete in a lip sync challenge benefitting the Smile Network International. Held at the Muse Event Center in Minneapolis, expect to see representatives from your favorite Twin Cities news and radio programs. Grant Whittaker hosts. Thursday: Pop-Up Minneapolis shopping event: This shopping frenzy at 514 Studios brings together dozens of local vendors for the ultimate Twin Cities shopping spree. Admission is free, but for $15 you can become a VIP guest nd receive a free cocktail, gift bag and a $5 donation to Smile Network. Thursday: Guest artists at Ampersand: On Thursday, Alice Goldsmith will be present to help you create a ceramic masterpiece of your own, and Annie Modica will appear for a personal appearance and signing for the first time in the store’s history. Friday: realia by jen launches Venus holiday collection: Local jewelry designer Jen Scheffler has produced this collection of statement holiday accessories, many with the stylistic influences of mixed metals and Swarovski crystals. Friday and Saturday: Sarah Graham trunk show at Max’s: Jewelry artist Sarah Graham will be putting in a personal appearance at Max’s at the Shops at Excelsior & Grand to display her unique collections. Always inspired by nature in her designs, her newer styles include sapphire and rose gold elements in her everyday jewelry and bridal collections.
