Tuesday: MINQ Men’s Deals and Drinks…Pass the Scotch!: For this evening of sophisticated men’s fashion and drinks, MINQ is offering 20% off all men’s clothing and accessories, as well as a plentiful array of assorted beverages. Wednesday: Beer tasting at FinnStyle: Inspired by the addition of a new specialty beer glass in the iitaala Essence collection, FinnStyle has prepared a sampling of Finnish beers (with some variation thrown in) and light appetizers, all completely free. Saturday: Walker Jewelry Artist Mart: The Jewelry Artist Mart at the Walker will feature more than 25 jewelry artists from around the world, showcasing original works that will put some sparkle in your holiday season. Saturday through Dec. 27: Carter Smith at Textile Center: A selection of colorful, one-of-a-kind dyed silk scarves garments and décor from shibori artist Carter Smith is on display and available for purchase this fall at Textile Center. Shibori is an ancient Japanese art form similar to tie-dye, and involves binding, folding, and twisting cloth to create unique patterns. Through Nov. 2: Shop Save Share Fundraiser: Holders of the Shop Save Share card, from the Junior League of Minneapolis, will get a 20% discount at a variety of Minneapolis businesses. Card sales support Junior League programs that work to close the achievement gap in Minneapolis. Participating businesses include Kokoon, Bluebird Boutique, and D.NOLO. Now Open: CorAzoN on Selby Ave.: This artsy boutique has opened a new location on Selby Ave. in St. Paul, and you’re invited to check out their “ghoulishly good” wares in time for Halloween. Featuring creative and unique designs, CorAzoN offers oodles of clothing, jewelry, and accessories in an entertaining hodgepodge of artsy wares. Now Available: Pink Ribbon Recycled Throw at Faribault Woolen Mill Co.: In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Faribault Woolen Mill is offering a special recycled throw, with a portion of proceeds donated to the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota. Now Available: Ode from Amanda Christine Natzel: Local designer Amanda Christine Natzel has launched her first line after a hiatus since taking a job at Target. Ode is a new conceptual collection that includes hand-knit sweaters and unique designs. Limited stock will be available at Cliché, but new designs will appear monthly on the website. Ongoing through Oct. 31: Premium Outlets Pink Event: Shop Pink for a Cause: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Twin Cities and Albertville Premium Outlets have partnered with Susan G. For each donation of $10 or more, shoppers will receive a 25% savings card for one item from participating stores, including Tommy Hilfiger, Samsonite, and more.
