Through Nov. 8: Blu Dot 20% Off Sale: The locally based modern home furnishings store is putting all of its designs on sale just in time for the holiday shopping season. All Blu Dot designs, which includes furniture, lighting, office accessories, and kitchen utensils, will be discounted both in-store and online. Oct. 20 Fritz Hansen Meet-and-Greet at AlwaysMod: Danish furniture brand Fritz Hansen will be showcased during this cocktail reception event at home design store AlwaysMod. Henrik Hjorth and Adrian Pollack, VP and Sales Manager at Fritz Hansen, will be on hand for a meet-and-greet and presentation, and guests will have a chance to win an iconic Arne Jacobsen Drop Chair valued at $468. Oct. 22: Hammer Made Ridgedale Grand Opening: Men’s boutique Hammer Made, which carries limited-run designs made from European fabrics, will debut its fourth location at the new Ridgedale Mall. Prices at Hammer Made belie the high quality, and founder Jason Hammerberg prides himself on providing customers with more for less. In addition to button-down shirts, ties, and accessories, the store also carries Minnesota-themed tees and knits. Oct. 22: Luxury Garage Sale at Bluebird Boutique: At this one-of-a-kind pop-up event, shoppers will have access to designer items like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Hermes outside of high-priced luxury stores. All items, including shoes, jewelry, and accessories, will be available at consignment store prices. Oct. 22: Fall Flash Sale at Wander North Distillery: Choose from discounted items by several local artists and makers at this happy hour-style event. While you shop items from redshoes26, NEAL Jewelry, Danielle Sakry, and more, try a drink from Wander North’s new fall menu. The Anchor Fish & Chips food truck will be on hand to provide dinner. Oct. 22: United Way's Centennial Celebration at Muse Event Center: Since 1915, United Way has combatted poverty through empowering the disadvantaged and bringing people together. The nonprofit is celebrating its centennial with a fashion event organized by Women United, a division of United Way that helps women and children succeed through community-building and philanthropy. Hosted by style expert Grant Whittaker, the show is a fashion retrospective that also serves as a networking event. All proceeds from the event will go to support Women United and its partners. Oct. 22: Falling Into Fall: Stock-up event at Atmosfere: The North Loop shop invites customers to create new fall ensembles at sale prices. Fall looks for men and women will be available, including brands: Shades of Grey, DL1961. Sol Angeles, and more. Enjoy music, refreshments, and “adult beverages” while you shop. Oct. 22: Harvest Moon at Cliché: Head to Uptown boutique Cliché, where everything in the store will be 20% off this evening only. The event will also feature a ’70s-inspired fashion show and a set by DJ Ken Hannigan. Complimentary munchies will be provided. Oct. 23-24: Paul Morelli Fine Jewelry Trunk Show at Max's: Paul Morelli representative John Winkler will be in-store at Max’s trunk show, which will showcase the designer’s earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and signature Morelli Meditation Bells. The son of a Broadway costume designer, Morelli has constantly been surrounded by art and fashion, which shows in his timeless and elegant jewelry. Morelli’s current collection features white and yellow gold paired with a variety of colorful gemstones. Oct. 23-25: Rosa Clara 2016 Collection Bridal Trunk Show and Open House at the White Room: The recently-opened White Room will host its first trunk show by showcasing Rosa Clara’s 2016 collection. Throughout this 3-day event, brides will have a chance to look through the new collection either by appointment (Friday evening and all-day Saturday) or drop in during the open house (daytime Friday and Sunday). Oct. 24-25: Architectural Antiques fall sale: With discounts of up to 70% off its merchandise, this Minneapolis antique store’s annual fall sale is the best time to procure one-of-a-kind vintage pieces for your home.
