Now: InVision Distinctive Eyewear introduces FEB31st Eyewear: Handmade in Italy, this line of glasses and sunglasses are light and colorful, and their wooden frames make them sturdy yet fashion-forward. Now: Alessi (RED) collection at AlwaysMod: Kitchen utensil company Alessi partners with AIDS-fighting charity (RED) on a new collection of kitchenware, available in-store and online at AlwaysMod. In keeping with AlwaysMod’s commitment to providing functional and relevant products, a percentage of the profits from this line’s products will go toward (RED)’s beneficial work. July 30: Bouchard Design Co Trunk Show at Kisa Boutique: From 4-8 pm, head to Kisa Boutique’s Wayzata pop-up location for a trunk sale on local jewelry from Bouchard Design Co. Kisa Boutique focuses on providing women with striking, one-of-a-kind looks with an international flair, so this partnership with culturally-aware Bouchard Design Co. is fitting. July 30-Aug 1: Goodthings Warehouse Sale at White Bear Lake Armory: This annual sale features huge discounts on hundreds of products, from clothing and accessories to holiday decorations and gifts. July 30: MN4MN Blank Canvas Event at Public Functionary: This event invites local artists and photographers to collaborate on a project that explores the function of sneakers in both the art and fashion worlds. 13 artists were given a pair of sneakers and asked to recreate them as art objects. The final products will be on display during a reception at Public Functionary’s art exhibition space from 6-10 pm, which will feature music from DJ Chuck Chizzel. July 31: Akua Gabby Fashion Pop-up at Showroom: Minnesota-based fashion designer Jacqueline Addison honors her African roots with a new line of Ghanian-inspired looks. Addison’s colorful, handmade textiles mix traditional African styles with modern influences. Come take in a runway show that showcases an exciting new worldly perspective in local fashion. Jul 31-Aug 2: Rewind Vintage's Get Pretty Sale: The Minneapolis vintage store is offering great discounts on all of its merchandise during this 3-day sale.
