Urban Pantry

Published:

What's in your pantry? Dara & Co. blogger Jason DeRusha recently wrote about food resolutions for 2011, and perhaps yours involves stocking healthier goods, or cooking with more sustainable products. This book can help.

Urban Pantry: Tips & Recipes for a Thrifty, Sustainable & Seasonal Kitchen is written by Amy Pennington, the owner of GoGo Green Garden, an edible gardening business that builds, plants, and tends edible gardens for city folk in their backyards. She's also the founder of urbangardenshare.org, a website matching gardeners with unused garden space in cities across the country.

Tell us your favorite winter produce item and something you make with it, and you may win our copy of this book. And congrats to MANDA, winner of last week's Life Is Meals giveaway.

Entries accepted until Friday, January 14, 2011 at 9 a.m.
