The Justice Page Middle School PTA invites the community to join us for a special screening of the documentary “Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety” to open up a dialogue among local families, community leaders, and experts.
Through candid interviews, the film tells the stories of children and teens who discuss their anxiety, the impact on their lives and relationships, as well as how they’ve found solutions and hope. The film also includes a special interview with Michael Phelps, a mental-health advocate and Olympic athlete. In addition, the documentary provides discussions with mental-health experts about the causes of anxiety, its sociological effects, and helpful resources and tools.
There will be a brief Q & A with school counselors after the film. There is no ticket charge, but a suggested donation of $5 to help defer the cost is appreciated. This film is not available on streaming services. Register on Eventbrite: https://tinyurl.com/AngstMinneapolis
