Cromulent Shakespeare, “The Taming of the Shrew”

Jun 17, 2018
06:30 PM until 08:00 PM

Cromulent Shakespeare brings the Bard’s The Taming of the Shrew, to Caponi Art Park’s Theater in the Woods for an evening exploring the folly of greed and a misguided approach to romance.

Since 1996, The Cromulent Shakespeare Company has committed to "Embiggen the Bard," and has performed all around the land of lakes in parks and small theaters. Cromulent Shakespeare’s productions typically include gender-neutral casting.

Join us under the leafy canopy in our natural amphitheatre, bring the whole family and a picnic, as we explore this comedy by the world’s greatest playwright.

In addition to our main parking lot at 1220 Diffley Road, performance parking is available at the Lexington-Diffley Athletic fields (unless noted). Banners and signs will be posted. Walking distance to amphitheater is a hilly 5-minute hike from either entrance. Golf carts are available to transport guests with mobility needs.

In case of rain, the event will be held on June 24th.

$5/person – free for children under 12
