Step back into the 1800s and see the international industry that grew up and flourished along the Great Lakes and Minnesota. The Minnesota Historical Society's traveling exhibit focuses on how the fur industry changed the way of life for Native Americans and explorers.
There will be artifacts aplenty, but you can also see if you have what it takes to be a Voyageur or a clerk. You can also try the basics of Ojibwe beading and learn how to turn furs into hats.
