Hear internationally renowned concert organist Nathan Laube perform the first solo organ recital on Northrop’s newly restored pipe organ. In addition to serving as Assistant Professor of Organ at the Eastman School of Music and as International Consultant in Organ Studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the United Kingdom, Laube’s extensive recital career includes major venues and music festivals spanning four continents. He was a featured performer at the 2017 National Convention of the Organ Historical Society in Minneapolis, performing a solo recital at the Basilica of St. Mary. Laube has been hailed by the media as a “brilliant artist” with playing that is “flawless, inspired, and for want of a better word, transporting.”
