Join us at our 7th Annual Oysterfest, the last best outdoor festival of the season, celebrating all things oysters! Every year, we fly in thousands of oysters from both coasts to shuck, eat, and teach our community all about this beloved bivalve.
As the waters cool with the season, we are hoping all five species of Oysters will be available with over a dozen varieties. There are many ways to eat oysters: on the half shell, smoked, grilled, fried and more. Besides the myriad of oysters, there are plenty of other offerings from Chef Klein, Chef Engelhart and the whole Meritage team who will be grilling sausages, burgers, and spit-roasting a whole pig. And of course, the lovely crepe stand will be there with sweet and savory options.
Meritage has collaborated with Summit Brewing on a special Oyster Stout exclusive for the festival, and on tap at Meritage (if any remains!) this season. This year’s live music features Jaedyn James & the Hunger, and our tradition of hosting the Southside Aces.
The festival opens to all ticket holders at 2 pm, (Platinum Pass Holders at 12noon) with the shuck-off beginning its first round at 2:30 pm. The entire event is tented up, so we’ll be there rain or shine!
Oysterfest tickets are now on sale! Options include:
Platinum Pass - ($120) VIP access from 12-2pm. UNLIMITED oysters, 3 beverage tokens, a gift bag. These passes sell out fast!
Oyster Pass - ($60) general entry at 2pm. Includes a dozen oysters, and 1 beverage token. (Best value, with $49 of “stuff” included)
General Admission Pass - ($25) entry into the event at 2 pm. The best option for people who don’t eat a lot of oysters, but want to experience the fun of the festival.
Reminder, be sure to buy your wooden nickels, which will be your commerce for the day to skip the queue!
