Help collect seeds and remove invasive species while enjoying the prairie grasses and wildflowers of this dry sand prairie with wonderful views of the Mississippi River! Come lend a hand to help improve the habitat of this unique place.
This event is led by Mississippi Park Connection and the National Park Service who will provide necessary tools and gloves. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes for this outdoor project. In Cottage Grove, from US Hwy 61 – Drive 0.75 miles S on Jamaica Ave, then 0.4 miles W on 100th Street, then 1 miles S on Ideal Avenue, then 0.5 miles W on 110th Street. Please park in the lot at the dead end.
