Date/Time

Dec 10, 2017
04:00 PM until 06:00 PM

Description

On Dec 10th at 4:00pm, the Eagan Women of Note will present Sacred: Unique Spiritual Songs for the Season.  This year's winter concert is a diverse expression of faith in God, nature, and the goodness of humanity.  The sixty talented singers of this South Metro women's choir will sing choral standards like Benjamin Britten’s “This Little Babe” from Ceremony of Carols and John Rutter’s “For the Beauty of the Earth”.  They will also perform sacred songs inspired by the traditions of Scandinavia’s Sami people and the Mi'kmaq people of Canada. Included among the non-traditional music will also be Christmas favorites like “O Holy Night” and “Mary, Did You Know?” The concert is set in the beautiful sanctuary of Apple Valley’s South Suburban Evangelical Free Church on Johnny Cake Ridge Road. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.  There will be a cookie sale after the concert.
