Dive Under the Sea in The Midwest’s Epic Corn Maze AND Countless Other Attractions for the Entire Family


 Sever's Fall Festival, home of the first corn maze in the Midwest, is excited to announce the opening of its 2018 season on Friday, September 7th. Guests will enjoy their favorite Sever's activities and attractions including the extreme corn pit, zip lines, tire mountain, jumping pillows, pumpkin blaster, hayride, food trucks and more every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 28.


New this year, Sever’s welcomes Lime Tree Circus a team of two that dazzles audiences with performances as unicyclists, acrobats, aerialists and more! Enjoy a range of entertainment and workshops for all ages!

Corn Maze and Challenge: This year’s theme is Under the Sea

Corn Pit and EXTREME Corn Pit: Holds 10,000 bushels of corn kernels each!

Obstacle Course: Physical challenges for the kids

Exotic Petting Zoo: Get up close and personal with a giraffe, Nilgai, addax, water buffalo, eland, wildebeest, cavy, camel, emu, kangaroo, highland calf, muntjac, mini pony, mini donkey, goats, alpacas and more!

Live Music from the Blue Ox Jazz Babies

GIANT Jumping Pillows: Kids (and adults!) love jumping on our giant inflatable pillows

Straw Sculptures and Installations: Check out creative corn art throughout the festival

Tire Mountain: Let the kids roam and climb!

Zip Lines: Zoom through the air

Magic Shows from Magician Matt Dunn who will WOW kids and adults alike!

Kiddie Train: Let your kids imagination roam as a conductor!

Pig Races: Watch pigs dash for the finish line of mini donuts

Spider Web Obstacle: Climb and crawl like a spider on our rope structure!

Tickets can be purchased for Sever's Fall Festival online and at the event. Guests ages 3 and under are free. Tickets for guests ages 4 and above are $15 each ($1 off coupon available online). Seniors 65+, guests with Military ID, and groups of 26+ are $12 each. Season passes are also available this year for $35. Get a discounted rate of $28 during presale starting August 1.


About Sever's Fall Festival

Sever Peterson and his family were originally inspired by hedge mazes in Europe. As the first corn maze in the Midwest in 1997, they have expanded to become a fall festival that guests can spend all day at with family and friends. The 2018 season marks the 22nd year that Sever's has been open. Sever's is located west of Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn.
