Minnesota Zoo Hooks a Crowd with a Sustainable-Fish Fest
Event: The fourth annual Fish First, October 7, 2010
Cause: Proceeds from the fishy féte supported the zoo’s Conservation Funds, which support field research and conservation efforts locally, nationally, and internationally.
See and be Seen: Twin Cities celebrity chefs, including Adam Vickerman from Sea Change, Rick Kimmes from The Oceanaire Seafood Room, and George Snyder from McCormick & Schmick’s, created delicious dishes that featured sustainable ocean and freshwater fish.
Special Guest: Sue Zelickson moderated the event.
Wining and Dining: A buffet and wine pairings rounded out the meal.
Night Music: First Light set the mood with instrumental music.
