Irish Tour of St. Paul

Sep 30, 2012 to Dec 2, 2012
02:30 PM until 06:30 PM

This event occurs every 2 week(s) on Sunday.

Erik's Minnesota Adventures is an innovative program for young adults with autism. As experienced guides, they will lead tours, providing an opportunity for them to share their unique talents and expertise in specific areas within the arts, history, sports, environment–whatever their passion.

Mariah's Irish heritage has piqued her interest in St. Paul's Irish roots and heritage. Her tour will walk you through the impetus behind the Irish migration to St. Paul in the late 1800s and the role of the Catholic church. Be entertained by Celtic dancers and wear comfortable shoes for a private Irish dance lesson. After the lesson at a popular pub, enjoy a Guinness and a sampling of Irish food, which adds up to a full meal. Finally, taste authentic Irish whiskey. Distilleries, once plentiful in Ireland, have dwindled to only four distilleries. However, you will get to taste the real deal thanks to friends in the business.
