Description

2013 Mankato Zombie Run:

  • A fun 5K Zombie Race thru the woods of Mount Kato.
  • The woods of Mt. Kato will have three large undead zones filled with zombies, as well as zombies in the woods!
  • Entrants can register as Zombies, Runners or both.
  • Teams are also allowed.
  • There will be two kids waves for those 16 and under. It is suggested that kids 16 and under go in these waves, but not required.
  • Zombies however, must be age 16 and up.
     
  • Runners will be given life-lines (flag football belts) and Zombies will try to remove all three life lines.
  • To survive the race, you must finish with at least one life-line on your belt, or you will have died and become the undead!
  • Spare life lines in health packs will be hidden throughout the course.
  • There will be T-shirts for all, and Survivor medals for all who finish the race alive.
  • The event will include three bands, one on Friday night for early packet pick-up (not required) and two bands for the post-event party.
  • There will be beer as well.
  • The race will not be officially timed.
  • There is an afternoon race with waves starting at 2 p.m., and an evening race with waves starting at 6 p.m.
  • Runners and Zombies can choose their waves at registration.

Adults $48; zombies $42; kids $34.
