River Action Volunteer Event—Biking

May 17, 2014
10:00 AM until 01:00 PM

Join the Mississippi River Fund for a volunteer biking tour around the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers. This is an awesome opportunity to get involved with restoring the community while following a National Park Ranger! Volunteers will see Historic Fort Snelling, Hidden Falls, Minnehaha Falls and Coldwater Spring during this five mile bike ride. The ride will start at the Boy Scout Base Camp.

After the leisurely tour, volunteers will put their hands to work doing a service project to help restore the wildlife habitat in the area. This is a fun recreation and volunteer event, great for adults and kids eight years of age and older. This is a free event. Bikes and helmets are not provided. The ride runs at a casual pace that is appropriate for riders of most ability. Thanks to Patagonia for supporting RAVEs!
