Description

Begin the Valentine's Day week with a romantic experience at the James J. Hill House, St. Paul's premiere Gilded Age mansion. A special evening theme tour will highlight romance and courtship at the Hill Housefrom James J. and Mary T. Hill's long marriage, to the weddings of four daughters held at the house, to the tumultuous courtships of the Hill House servants. Costumed actors will play members of the Hill family, so guests can imagine living and celebrating Valentine's Day in the beautiful Victorian mansion.

After the tour and light refreshments, guests will gather in the elegant music room, where life coach Beth Freschi will provide a guided class with music and relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body. The class will begin with deep breathing, followed by a muscle relaxation exercise, guided imagery, and the loving kindness meditation. Practicing relaxation techniques with a loved one can be a wonderful bonding experience!

Previous tour/relaxation classes at the Hill House have sold out, so reservations are strongly recommended for this unique event.
