Description

Shen Yun brings to life 5,000 years of Chinese civilization through classical Chinese dance and music in an exhilarating show you will never forget. Capturing the spirit of a culture long lost, the show moves quickly through regions, dynasties, and legends. Ethnic and folk dances fill the stage with color and energy. Tremendous athleticism, thunderous battle drums, and masterful vocalists are all set to animated backdrops that transport you to another world.

Authentic Chinese made in America, ShenYun is based in New York and will have all new programs in 2013. It is a grand production with nearly 100 world-class professional artists, over 400 costumes, and the only orchestra in the world featuring both classical Western and Chinese instruments as permanent members. Shen Yun is the first company to present classical Chinese dance to the world on a large scale. Taking the globe by storm, ShenYun has performed in over 100 cities in four continents and in top venues like New York's Lincoln Center and France's Palais des Congrès de Paris.
