Description

Erik's Minnesota Adventures is an innovative program for young adults with autism. As experienced guides, they will lead tours, providing an opportunity for them to share their unique talents and expertise in specific areas within the arts, history, sports, environment–whatever their passion.

St. Paul, replete with historical buildings, is the destination for TJ's walking tour. Architectural aficionados and even those who have only a passing interest in architecture will discover the historical relevance of St. Paul's prime buildings inside and out. Complete the tour by dining at the historic Mickey's Diner, a St. Paul favorite.

Thad, or TJ as he prefers, is a graduate of Dowling College in New York. Blessed with an eidetic (photographic) memory, he has amassed significant knowledge of sociology, arts, film, automobiles, architecture, and New York City. At age three, TJ was already a voracious reader, much to his parents' surprise. In addition to teaching himself to read, TJ also discovered his talent as an artist working with pen, paints, and clay to create distorted and emotional modern art, which has expanded into an interest in architecture.
