The 31st annual Children’s Cancer Research Fund Dawn of a Dream event seeks to find a cure to childhood cancer
Event: The 31st Annual Dawn of a Dream event was held Saturday, November 5, at the Depot in downtown Minneapolis.
Cause: More than $1 million was raised in support of the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, a national nonprofit working to find a cure for childhood cancers.
Who’s Who: Among the 800 attendees were University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler; KS95 morning show hosts Trey Barber, Ryan Roos, and Shannon Holly; and local restaurateur David Fhima.
Going Once, Going Twice: The night culminated with a live auction. Among the many prizes was a package that included airfare and tickets to the opening ceremonies and select sporting events of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
