The Page Foundation spring gala supports education with Minnesota flair
Event: The Page Education Foundation’s annual spring gala, held April 16 at Target Field’s Metropolitan Club.
Cause: The Page Foundation encourages minority youth to reach their academic and personal potential through financial assistance to post-secondary students. The $400,000 raised at the gala goes toward such grants.
See and be Seen: Among the 1,000 guests were Governor Mark Dayton, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Tubby and Donna Smith, and Steve Perry, pro-football Hall of Fame president and executive director.
Fun on a Stick: Guests were treated to classic Minnesota State Fair food as part of the gala’s theme, Minnesota Made: Everything Minnesota.
Fancy Fingers: World-renowned pianist Nachito Herrera provided entertainment for the evening.
