Groveland Gallery takes full advantage of summer’s short season with six shows and 11 events
Summer is setting up to be a busy season over at Groveland Gallery. In the next 12 weeks, the gallery is departing from its usual schedule (two exhibitions that turn over every six weeks) and significantly upping its output: 54 artists, 6 shows, 5 Saturday afternoon “porch painter” demonstrations, 4 openings, and 1 drawing workshop. The current exhibition, “1x1’ = $200,” which opened on Saturday, includes small paintings, prints, and drawings by 22 gallery artists, all priced under $200. It runs through June 14.
