According to the national highway Traffic Administration, a car accident happens every minute of every day. In some cases, the result is whiplash from the impact (resulting in headaches, neck, shoulder, or back pain), and in some cases, a person can have delayed symptoms that can show up days, weeks, even months later. An experienced chiropractor—like those at Advanced Medical of Twin Cities—can uncover “hidden injuries” and correct them before they become big problems. Dr. Arlen Lieberman, named a “Best Chiropractor” for the past four years, and Dr. Krystle Lieberman Wall, named a 2017 “Best Chiropractor,” approach these injuries with compassion and care.
According to Katie, who was seen at Advanced Medical of Twin Cities after being rear-ended in a car accident, the staff made her feel welcome from her first treatment. She comments, “They know everyone by name and helped tremendously with the pain and recovery of getting back to normal.” The treatments are so positive, she actually looks forward to going, she says.
The dedicated father-daughter duo is trained to help people “get back to normal” by relieving pain commonly associated with accidents, as well as migraines, old injury flare-ups, random aches and pains, and general ‘maintenance.’ They do so through providing drug-free, natural treatments like gentle spinal manipulation (adjustments) and pressure release techniques.
Advanced Medical of Twin Cities is a comprehensive health facility, offering the services of not only chiropractors, but a medical doctor, massage therapists, and other health care providers in one location. This team approach is a distinctive mark of the clinic—one of the first in the state to integrate a medical doctor into their facility, back in 1998. Today, the staff includes Dr. Arlen Lieberman, Chiropractic Orthopedist, founder and director with 36 years of clinical experience, medical director Dr. Wook Kim, sports chiropractor Dr. Jason Fenske, and chiropractor, acupuncturist, and licensed dietitian Dr. Krystle Lieberman Wall, with a special focus on family care for women and children. This comprehensive model works because professionals are working together in the best interests of their patients. According to Dr. Arlen Lieberman, “Optimal health and reduced disease risk are best achieved when medicine, chiropractic, exercise, and nutrition are holistically combined.”

iBackcheck Sport Therapy
If i’m hurting, of course i want to get adjusted. However I also want the stretching, soft tissue work, and the rehab work—the full scope of care,” explains Dr. Christi Jo Christian, founder of iBackCheck Sport Therapy in Plymouth. “My mother taught me to treat everyone as you would want to be treated, and being an athlete, this includes the care that I give to my patients.”
Selected a 2017 “Best Chiropractor” by her peers, Dr. Christian’s results-oriented techniques—cupping, IASTM, muscle release techniques, kinesiotaping, rehabilitation techniques, running or hockey treadmill analysis, and golf swing analysis, to name a few—have been well-received in the community. She has physical therapists on staff, believing in integrating chiropractic, massage, and physical therapy to address injuries and speed up the recovery process, whether it’s neck or back pain, whiplash injuries, shoulder, knee or hip injuries, or an injury as a result of hockey, running, or golfing. A new medical training program further bridges the gap between physical therapy and summer training for an injured athlete.
And while the office is housed in the Plymouth Ice Center, they don’t exclusively treat hockey players. The team treats active individuals and community members of all ages and athletic abilities, many referred to them by physicians.
According to Dr. Christian, “Our specialized knowledge, experience, and multidisciplinary approach helps you achieve your peak performance.”
