Talented students help raise money for Minneapolis’s Southwest High School
What: Sixth annual Hot Notes on a Cold Night event, January 22.
Cause: Proceeds from the event help fund academic and arts needs at Southwest High School in Minneapolis. The event drew 250 guests and raised nearly $18,000.
Star Turn: Southwest students presented acts ranging from monologues to modern dance.
Going Once, Going Twice: Silent auction items included second-row Twins seats and dinner with Star Tribune food critic Rick Nelson.
