Len Druskin Man
Gaviidae Common, Minneapolis, 612-455-1660
For more than 30 years, the Druskin family has dressed us with a cool hand and a discerning eye at its fashion-forward Edina store, Len Druskin. At Len Druskin Man, its new venture, the family is outfitting urbanites and feeling right at home. “We all live in downtown Minneapolis. We wanted to be part of it,” says Michael Druskin. The store meets customers’ growing demands for modern menswear with brands that Len Druskin regulars expect for work and play—Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, Polo Ralph Lauren—and one of the largest selections of Diesel denim in the Cities. Edgier lines, like G-Star Raw and Modern Amusement, change weekly in the experimental “Lab” section. The store’s dedication to lifestyle is most apparent in its crossover sportswear offerings from Spyder and Arc’teryx, which customers want for casual, weekend wear—not just skiing and snowboarding. Like the clothes it carries, Len Druskin Man’s interior is distinctly masculine: metal-studded fixtures, stark white walls, and a display of “Nature Calls” toilet-deodorizer drops from Ritual. As for a women’s-only store, Druskin says, “We’re walking rather than running.” A girl can dream.
