HEARRT (Heart Education and Risk Reduction Tips):

For those at risk for heart disease or those recently diagnosed. Led by exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, and dietitians, this class shows how little changes can improve heart health. Living with Heart Failure Support Group:

One-on-one Counseling:

A one-hour personalized assessment for women that includes a brief health history and physical and provides individual education, counseling, and assistance with health goals. Classes and support groups for women dealing with heart disease.

United Hospital’s Hearts Cardiac Club:

Monthly meetings in March, April, May, September, and November for people with heart disease. Held the second Wednesday of the month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Meetings feature presentations on such topics as cholesterol, nutrition, and medication.

Patient Partner:

This one-on-one visitation program matches patients with volunteers who are cancer survivors and who provide understanding and emotional support.

Post-treatment Seminar:

For those who have completed, or soon will complete, cancer treatment. Each seminar covers different topics and provides time to meet with professionals and people who are at similar points in their battle with cancer. 6:30 to 8 p.m., second Wednesday, alternate months.
Reach to Recovery: Trained volunteers who have had breast cancer help guide and support women who have been newly diagnosed.

The Living Room Resource Center:
