The Bronze Age

Dear Expert: What's your take on bronze appliances? I'm not digging this trend, but want to hear what the 'pros' think.

A: Bronze finish faucets will remain a trend for several years. The original bronze finishes were "living" surfaces that were meant to show ageing quickly to give the character of an antique. As such, this finish will have continued value in design settings where antique style is desired. I would estimate this finish is at its peak now and will drop somewhat in popularity before hitting a sort of plateau of demand that should last for many years.
