Oh Oscar

Let's get right to it.

Overall, Oscar fashions were unremarkable. And I don't mean they weren't beautiful or chic and that these people aren't gorgeous in t-shirts. I mean, it's winter in Minnesota, we've been waiting for this show since television took a hiatus, and so I really needed to see something sunny, sparkly, scintillating.

Spring hath Sprung

After wearing my -40 degree down puffer and Uggs for three days straight, I am working on warm-weather visualizing techniques. I thought of my friend, Laura, sipping champagne cocktails at 65-and-sunny Pebble Beach. I thought of how juicy my sheer raspberry lip gloss is going to look with something other than a black cashmere turtleneck (and long underwear top).
