I am not normally a compulsive shopper, but MAKE HASTE! This is probably the only time you'll ever see these designers go on sale, let alone to such depths. Alexis Bittar bracelets, Anya Hindmarch bags, Missoni scarves, Lauren Merkin clutches, Dunhill cufflinks—there'll all there. I stopped by yesterday for a preview and it honestly felt like stealing. I picked up two Italian wool shawl cardigans, a Burberry tie, and a pair of delicate gold hoop earrings—all for about $100. If you can't justify a purchase for yourself, then consider the fantastic gift possibilities for mom/sister/girlfriends and the men in your life.
The sale runs until the end of the month, when—here's the bad news—the store will close so owner Kevin Quinn can focus on growing his Galleria location. The consolidation makes good business sense considering the foot traffic StyledLife receives there, but it's such a blow for Gaviidae, and a huge loss for downtown shoppers.
