Confession: I have purchased a few baby clothes. I don't have a baby. I don't want a baby (at the moment). I simply can't resist tiny, adorable things—particularly puppies, booties, and bonnets. Everything is cuter when it's smaller. Except the old Oh Baby! store at the Galleria. While I can't complain about not being able to wield a stroller through this basinet-sized shop, I'm pretty sure my tote would knock out a mobile or two. I think I went in once, and mostly because I love owner Mary Lauer's shabby chic home goods store, Que Sera. I didn't last long and I never went back—not because the designer diaper bags, custom furniture, and crazy-cute clothing wouldn't make exceptionally stylish gifts for all my mom friends, but because it was just too hard to shop in such a small space.
Apparently, I wasn't the only one. This week, Oh Baby! relocated to sprawling 2,400 square feet space next to the sunny Crate & Barrel atrium. It's a plumb location in a burgeoning mall, and a fantastic opportunity for the store show off it's strengths: sophisticated merchandise and Lauer's home interiors skills. Have a look:

I was SO excited when I heard about the new store! But when I visited it when it opened, I was blown away by how fresh, new, beautiful, and well put together it is!! If you haven't been there since it opened, you NEED TO :)
