Girls Gone Styled
I grew up in St. Paul, and though I now reside across the river, I will always have a soft spot for Grand Avenue. I love to shop there with friends, or meet my family at Cafe Latte for pizza and wine. As an editor, however, I've developed a new-found appreciation for the retailers in the area. They are some of the friendliest, most creative, and hard-working women I've encountered in the business. But what really gets me about this group is their supportive and collaborative approach.

Case in point: tonight's Girls Gone Styled event. Three shops—Awakenings, Karma, and Flirt—are teaming up for shopping party, complete with a 15 percent discount, cheese and wine (natch). What I really love about the event, though, is that it's under one roof. Flirt is hosting this month; the other two shops will bring along their favorite fashions and unmentionables. If it's a successful event, they'll rotate the location each month so you, dear reader, can enjoy these beautiful boutiques.

If you need more incentive, check out our recent look at Karma, whose sunny summer fashions we have also featured. Flirt opened in May in the former Vagabond digs, and I am looking forward to sharing more about this sweet and sophisticated lingerie boutique in an upcoming issue. Stay tuned!
