Announcing: Dara & Co!

Big changes are afoot. In the magazine we have just tripled our food coverage, which will be evident when the May issue hits newsstands next week. You’ll find more news, more reviews, more Dara, and more new voices covering all things food, cooking, suburban happenings, and more, more, more! And just as the magazine will be new and improved, so will this space. I’ll still be writing here—and I love to answer your questions, so keep them coming—but we’ll also be featuring the work of four more wonderful writers. Like who? Like:

Jason DeRusha: Famous for his work as the Good Question reporter on WCCO television’s channel 4, Jason DeRusha also is passionate about food and has been doing some excellent food writing on the suburban beat for the magazine. Jason will be blogging about various interesting foods and food-moments; you can also follow Jason’s food writing at DeRushaEats on Twitter.

Elizabeth Dehn: Minnesota Monthly’s former style editor Elizabeth Dehn has embarked on a new career as the author and owner of BeautyBets.com, but she’ll also be filing blog posts here on foods, drinks, and other things she finds that she loves as she travels around the Twin Cities.

Marie Flanagan: Foodies know Marie Flanagan for her popular blog Reetsyburger.com, but here Marie will be writing under her own name and focusing on a topic close to her heart, great local sustainable producers and products.

And last, but certainly not least:

Stephanie Meyer: No, not the author of the Twilight series, this is the Stephanie Meyer who writes the appealing and accessible Twin Cities cooking blog FreshTart.net. Stephanie will be contributing news we can use about cooking—the products worth your time, the new ingredients in the farmer’s market, and how a busy, stylish foodie tackles dinner today.

Our goal (and wish us luck!) is to get a new blog post up every day, to keep you amused, informed, and connected with the best the Twin Cities food scene has to offer. So follow us in the magazine, on Twitter, on Facebook, and of course right here. There’s never been a better time to be a food-lover in the Twin Cities, and we plan to help you enjoy it!

Is there any way to have the main blog page have the contributor's name by the subject of the post?
