Sweet Chic

Happy Friday, all.

It could be your lucky day to win Sweet Chic: Stylish Treats to Dress Up for Any Occasion by Rachel Schifter Thebault, the owner and head confectioner of Tribeca Treats in New York City.

Interestingly, Target fashion guru Isaac Mizrahi writes the forward, because, well, food is fashionable, too!

To enter to win, please tell us your favorite holiday treat you can't go without—whether store/restaurant-bought or homemade. (Submissions accepted all weekend long.)

P.S. Congratulations to Sarah from Minneapolis for winning last week's giveaway, a book about bacon!

My mother's Chex Mix. It's incredible, and a recipe I can't wrestle from her.

Homemade biscotti! I started making a few different kinds each year when Gourmet magazine featured a selection of recipes in the 90s. Some reminded my neighbor of the ones her grandmother made. Others were popular with friends who were avoiding overly fattening cookies or looking for a "healthy" treat.
