Elizabeth’s Pick: Gourmet Greens To Go

Salad always tastes better when someone else makes it. Especially when that someone is Lucia Watson. At Lucia’s To-Go she’s taken to piling a heaping assortment of just-picked local bibb lettuce, spinach, micro greens, and shredded carrots into bags, and selling them with a perfectly rationed portion of maple-mustard vinaigrette. It’s $5.50 for the lot, and it’s enough to serve 8 to 10 at once, or 1 to 2 for a week. I like to sprinkle on some crumbled Stickney Hill goat cheese and toasted pecans. Anything more and it would taste like I made the salad myself.
