I Love Bacon!

Since we can't deliver slices of hot, crispy, smokin' fresh bacon to each of your homes and offices (well, I suppose we could, but that's going a bit far), we have a copy of I Love Bacon! by Jayne Rockmill to mail out to one lucky reader.
Bacon, of course, is the star of each of the book's 50+ recipes by such chefs as Cat Cora, John Besh, and Ming Tsai. All we ask is a quick answer (in the comments section below) to this question: What do you like more for Thanksgiving, pumpkin or apple pie, and why?
Yes, the answer we deem the winner is purely subjective, but aren't most food-related questions? (Deadline: 11/24/10, 10 a.m.)

definitely apple because pumpkin belongs in soup or bar/cake form. i've had many a badly made pumpkin pie but apple pie rarely disappoints.
Apple pie belongs to baseball. Pumpkin pie belongs to Thanksgiving.
Pumpkin. One of the main reasons I love my Mother so- her pumpkin pie lathered with whipped cream.
Pumpkin. Because by Thanksgiving, we've had lots of apple pie already.
Pumpkin pie, of course...with the crumbly pecan topping and a dollop of whipped cream! Yummy!
apple pie just doesn't scream thanksgiving to me, and i know it's practically sacreligious, but i'm not a huge fan of pumpkin pie. don't you just love when people like me can't answer a simple question that is posed to them? the promise of some of my grandma's pecan pie, however, would cause me to resort to drastic measures...i.e. giving up my first born child.
Pumpkin pie. Having pumpkin pie is like visiting with friends and family you don't have the opportunity to see all year round. Warm, inviting, and joyful.

Neither. I'm making a sweet 'tater & mincemeat for Thanksgiving just like I have since '60. I learned both from my Tantie and get raves every year.
Pumpkin. There's a reason why Charlie Brown was not visited by The Great Apple: Because IT DOESN'T EXIST.
